Endings and beginnings

So, my FFXIV subsciption is being closed after barely 2 weeks. It may be worth a look again in a few months, but at present with the Cata beta and various RL things it's not worth the hassle.

Speaking of Cata betas, I finished the Goblin zones at last. I'm not sure if it's the case, but there seemed to be more to do in Kezan and the Lost Isles compared to Gilneas. It was certainly more fun; the Worgen start, though amospheric, seemed to be entirely run on rails and while the Goblin one is linear too, it didn't feel as forced and (with the exception of a couple of glaring problems) seemed less buggy; due to phasing, my Worgen found himself wandering in an empty world which my young goblin lass never experienced. Quantitively both experiences may have provided similar Xp and gear (though my Gobbo ended up at 13 compared to 12 for the Worgen) but qualitively the Gobbo experience was more satisfying.
