Poking my head above the parapet

Nope, not disappeared, just busy with work and social functions this last week so not much time for blogging.

The Bigger They are ...We had a great time doing Ahn'kahet last week, and we're off to Drak'Tharon keep tonight (I'll add pics and write ups for both). We'd intended to do both last week but AK took a little longer than expected (the joys of doing instances "cold" without reading up beforehand) and we ran Azjol-Nerub to use up the rest of our time (getting the same loot over and over! Grr!)

The weekend was spent doing three distinct things: skilling up fishing and cooking on Andro (425 and 448 respectively, the last few points of cooking being a real chore - seems to be 20+ items crafted per point), upping Buli's kit and skills (mining lots felsteel for his own skill-ups and cobalt to repay Gradjo for making him shiney new tanking plate!) and getting improving the professions of Vhail (my DK). All fairly mundane chores, but things that'll have to be done. With Vhail, at least, there was a headstart on first aid (but not professions, sadly, cue a level 58 DK wandering through the caves in Dun Morogh hoovering up copper and killing trolls with a casual backhand).Wintergrasp

I spent a little while messing about in Wintergrasp too, both during the actual fighting (always fun when you're 76 and many of the enemy are level 80) and in the post-victory terrain, farming crystalized elements! It looks to be quite an interesting battleground, but with relatively few people playing it at the moment it was a little quiet.
